Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande is one of twenty-eight workforce development boards in Texas whose mission is to enhance quality of life in the El Paso region by focusing on initiatives that develop opportunities in education, employment and economic development. A reality of employment is that businesses can grow but they can also downsize, depending on the state of the local economy. As a business in the region, a program available to you through Workforce Solutions is Rapid Response, which provides confidential intervention assistance to employers and employees as they transition through a downsizing or closure event. The Rapid Response team will provide layoff aversion programs and assist dislocated workers in finding gainful employment.
