Healthcare Professional Shortage Task Force

Mission: Identify viable solutions for addressing critical shortages within healthcare professions in El Paso. The task force will bring stakeholders together to fully understand the issues surrounding shortages within those professions and develop strategies for working together as a community to develop policies and programs to support development within the areas of healthcare professional shortages.

Accomplishments:

• Launching a pilot program to produce a healthcare career magazine targeting students in grades 5-6 through a collaborative effort with EPISD and the Borderland Area Health Education Center.
• Active member of Clint ISD's local career and technical education council.
