HIGHER EDUCATION El Paso Community College El Paso Community College is the largest comprehensive community college in the region, offering over 130 different associate degree and certificate programs. The college consists of three campuses and two northwest centers, with a total enrollment of 19,845 students for credit courses and 8,200 students in non-credit courses. A wide variety of course offerings make the College a leader in bringing high quality, affordable educational opportunities to residents of El Paso County.
Associate Degrees are awarded at El Paso Community College in Science, Arts and Applied Science, as well as Certificates of Completion in other courses of study. Special programs at the College include:
Advanced Technology Center (ATC) - designed to provide quick response education and training to meet the specific needs of local industry including customized training in CAD / CAM, plastic injection molding, computer numerical control, plastics technology, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, statistical process control, mold making and repair, and tool and die.
Customized Training Department - serves business, industry and government agencies by providing training and education programs that meet their unique needs at the site and time chosen by the client. As of September 2, 1999 the El Paso Community College total student enrollment was 18,850 at an average age beginning at 27.5 years.
