- Do you need to have good credit? Yes. The bank will do a thorough credit check in order to qualify the family for a mortgage.
- What if I have good credit but my spouse doesn’t? As long as the borrower has sufficient income to purchase the home you may qualify.
- What if I purchased a mobile home? If you purchased the mobile home and are leasing or renting the land you can qualify. If you have purchased the land then you are no longer eligible for this program.
- Can I sell the house in the future? Yes, even though there are certain restrictions on especific projects that we currently handle. Call us to get more information on these restrictions.
- How long will the process take to get the home? Usually three months, from the moment you give us all required information to the closing of the home. This process varies on a case-by-case basis.
- Can single parents apply? Yes.
- If I pay child support can I include the kids on the family size? Only the family members that will live with you can be included on the size of the family.
- Can my girlfriend/boyfriend and I qualify together? There might be certain restrictions depending on certain projects. We encourage you to call us to get more information on this subject.
- How much are the monthly payments? This varies on a case-by-case basis and is influenced by the size of the mortgage, any grants, and mortgage rates, among other factors.
- Do I need to send my W2’s and other documents with the application? We first like to run a pre-qualification credit report to determine whether you have a good chance of qualifying for a loan. Therefore, the only thing we requiere from applicants at the beginning is the pre-qualification application. Call us to mail or fax you one, or feel free to stop by our office to pick one up.
- Are floor plans available for a person in a wheelchair? From time to time we have projects that include floor plans for handicapped people. We encourage you to give us a call for availability of ADA-cmpliant homes
