Infrastructure and Development

The mission is to educate the business community on infrastructure and development subject matter pertaining to maintenance of existing assets and plans for future growth and recommend action to overseeing governmental entities where appropriate.

The committee's vision is to support the business community through thorough investigation and reporting of subject matter that is relevant to investors in regards to infrastructure and development.

GOALS:

• To identify and engage key individuals and decision makers regarding infrastructure and development in the Greater El Paso region, including but not limited to public utilities, zoning, developers and trade associations.

• To promote development practices that result in assets for the El Paso region and that ensure that development demands within the region are met.

• To monitor all development changes that could impact the business community and develop a strategy to address these potential changes.

• To increase communication between all parties in the infrastructure and development process.

• To increase participation of the infrastructure and development community in City processes.

• To achieve the goal of affordable housing in the Greater El Paso area.
