EL PASO METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION The El Paso Metropolitan Planning
Organization (MPO) administers the planning and development of area transportation
plans. As the government mandated coordinator of transportation, the MPO is
responsible for such projects as the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), the
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP).

The Rio Grande Council of Governments is an organization

EL PASO WATER UTILITIES PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD
The El Paso Public Service Board, or PSB,
was established to help operate the water and wastewater system of El Paso. The five
board members, appointed by the City Council for four year staggered terms, oversee and
administrate PSB decisions and actions.
