EL PASO, TEXAS – The El Paso Chamber announced today that its board of directors has accepted the resignation of David Michael Jerome as President and CEO, effective April 15, 2022. Mr. Jerome has accepted an offer from the Hollywood (CA) Chamber of Commerce.
“This was a difficult decision that I reached after much reflection with my family. It has been a privilege to work with this amazing group of people. It is because of the hard work and positive changes we have made as a team that I feel confident in accepting this new role,” said David Jerome. “The El Paso Chamber is in a strong position to continue transforming business and improving lives. El Paso will always be home and I know its future is extremely bright.”
Mr. Jerome joined the El Paso Chamber as a volunteer in 2016 and was named President and CEO in 2017. During his tenure, he has been a key player in the El Paso Chamber’s unparalleled success.

The Board of Directors has appointed Stephen Ian Voglewede, Vice President of Innovation and Performance, as interim CEO. The EPC Board of Directors will begin the search for a permanent CEO immediately.
